Central service for trial sites performing clinical trials at the Leipzig University Medical Centre

The Site Management Department at the ZKS provides central support for clinics and departments carrying out clinical trials at Leipzig University Medical Centre. Specifically, this means we are assisting in the establishment and development of clinical trial units, in the administrative preparation of clinical trials on site, by providing specific training for non-medical trial staff and by developing and implementing quality assurance measures (e.g. Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs)

ZKS-Academy: Further training for trial personnel

The academy constitutes the umbrella for all training courses offered by the ZKS Leipzig. These include courses for coordinating investigators, investigators (basic and advanced courses) and study nurses, update and refresher courses, MPG (Medical Devices Act) supplementary courses as well as the extra-occupational Master's course "Clinical Research and Translational Medicine". The academy thus ensures adequate qualification of trial staff.
